Hi! I'm Charli, a journalist specialising in audio and narrative storytelling. I'm an experienced climate & environment reporter, producer, editor and podcast & radio host. I'm Australian, based in Germany.I focus mainly on the climate & environment as a producer and co-host of the DW Environment desk's weekly podcast Living Planet. But I'm also co-creator of the award-winning history podcast Don't Drink the Milk: The Curious History of Things about the strange and surprising stories behind things we think we know well. I produced its top three performing episodes to date, one of which won a Publisher Podcast Award for Best Culture Podcast.My work has been nominated for multiple audio awards (The Ambies, International Women's Podcasting Awards, Digital Media Awards Europe) and my reporting has so far taken me to North Macedonia, Switzerland, Scotland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, the southeastern corner of Tasmania and outback Queensland.
