Hello! I'm Charli, a journalist specialising in audio and narrative storytelling. I'm an experienced climate & environment reporter, producer, and podcast & radio host. I'm Australian, based in Germany.I focus mainly on the climate & environment as a producer and co-host of the DW Environment desk's award-winning weekly podcast Living Planet. I was also co-creator of the award-winning odd history pod Don't Drink the Milk: The Curious History of Things about the strange and surprising stories behind things we think we know well. I produced its top three performing episodes to date, one of which won a Publisher Podcast Award for Best Culture Podcast.I've also received a Signal Award for my audio work and been nominated for The Ambies, the International Women's Podcasting Awards, and the Digital Media Awards Europe. My reporting has so far taken me to North Macedonia, Switzerland, Scotland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, the southeastern corner of Tasmania, outback Queensland and Morocco.
